Lyons Cottages offers family-oriented, pet-friendly one, two and three bedroom housekeeping beach cottages, on a landscaped and groomed 2.5 acre site with large shade trees. Located near Covehead Harbour, in Stanhope, in the heart of Prince Edward Island National Park, Canada, Lyons Cottages is perfect for your next vacation, family reunion or retreat.
The cottages are just 180 meters from a lifeguarded sandy ocean beach within the park. Explore to your heart's content. View ocean sunrises -and- sunsets, walk miles of coastline, watch seals and seabirds (cormorants, seagulls, and occasional piping plover). See fishing boats in action, and view the lighthouse at Covehead Harbour. Explore forest, collect wildflowers, wild strawberries and wild blueberries and raspberries on nature trails. See rabbit and foxes. Read, swim, sunbathe, bike, walk, hike, write, listen to music – completely undisturbed!
15 minute drive to Charlottetown for city life, including live theatre, cinemas, horse racing and casino, family restaurants and fine dining, historic Confederation sites, souvenir shops and clothing outlets. Licensed dining is just a few kilometers away. Deep Sea Fishing and Lobster Pound in biking distance. 10 km Oceanfront paved and secure bike path along Gulf Shore Parkway in the National Park.

Our property is quite secure, with only one motor vehicle entrance, and only two ways in by foot.
Pets are welcome, but for the safety and comfort of all guests they need to be escorted and leashed at all times while outside.
**Please note that at Lyons we observe quiet hours beginning at 11 pm. We ask all guests to help us make our property peaceful and restful for everyone.
